Quality Control:
Quality Control inspections are offered by Black Hills Professional Home Inspections. We specialize in construction inspection Over-Site by doing weekly inspections as the building is being built by your contractor. We recommend that you do a walkthrough 3 times or more a week during the building process. Weekly or biweekly inspections will keep you up to date about your project’s progress and any poor building practices. We also provide detailed reports with pictures so you can keep an eye on the progress of any project.
A well-built home or commercial building will take less maintenance and keep your investment running smoothly for years to come. We are not the cheapest inspection firm because we provide the best inspections and reports in all of western South Dakota.
Quality or Price?
Our goal is to help protect our clients and your investment. We can customize our inspections to fit your inspection needs. The cost of our services will pay for itself. While your new home or commercial building is being built or when you have a remodeling project, you should have an Over-Site Inspection©, throughout the building process. Many times shortcuts are taken during the building. Sometimes it is just a simple oversight by the builder. “Everyone Has a Bad Day.” Additionally, after subcontractors have done their job there are no quality control inspections done by the builder. Don’t chance your investment and only inspection with a cheap or poor-quality inspection by the builder.

Quality Control:
This is where we step in to make sure the contractor is aware of any issues found by us. We will present these issues to the owner to discuss the documented findings with the contractor so they don’t get overlooked and get repaired before they are hidden or left to cause home problems in the future. Quality control is the best way to prevent mistakes.
We do these types of inspections for Rapid City homeowners and Commercial Property Investors and for many Out Of State Investors. Inspections are the best way to make sure the home or structure is built as well as it can be. A well-built home will take less maintenance and keep your home running smoothly for years to come. All homes will move over time in our area & for this reason, some changes will occur after you have moved in. Many of these issues are not serious and will require general maintenance over the lifespan of the home. Furthermore, some of these issues can cause major problems to the home if not addressed right away.
No Shortcuts:
Another key point is, many issues can be corrected during the construction of your new home and help prevent many of them from occurring and cost a lot less to fix. With an Over-Site© Inspection from Black Hills Professional Home Inspections, all aspects of the home building process are inspected throughout the building process. This will ensure that things are not being overlooked and shortcuts are put at bay. Great for remodeling also.

One Year Warranty:
11 Month Warranty Inspections:
Typically you get a one-year builder’s warranty. Not to mention, it is a good idea to have an 11 Month warranty Inspection after you have been in the home for about 10 or 11 months. An 11 Month Warranty Inspection from Black Hills Professional Home Inspections will look for problems that you are having and get them into a report with pictures to present to your builder before your home warranty runs out.
Find any problems that your home may be having and get them repaired by your contractor. Otherwise, you will end up paying for these repairs out of your pocket. Have your new home inspected before your warranty runs out. It is a good idea to live in the home for 10 to 11 months in order for most issues to rear their ugly heads. If your contractor is avoiding you we have ways to get them to respond to your concerns with the problems that you are having with your new home. We are here to help you!
